Lena Hellmann is a product designer with a focus on sustainability and material innovations. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design at Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences and at Thomas More, Mechelen, Belgium in 2015. In 2023, she graduated in product design from the Kunsthochschule Kassel. Prior to this, she gained practical experience at Atelier Haussmann and as a junior designer at Studio Mark Braun. Lena currently works as a research and artistic assistant at the research platform Bau Kunst Erfinden at the University of Kassel, where she is active in research as well as teaching and has been part of Raamwerk, Studio for Art, Social and Commerce since 2021.
